Laurie + Bryce: priceless

I really shouldn’t wait until when I’m finishing up a wedding to blog about it.  Especially when it was such a nice wedding, as Laurie and Bryce’s was.
Just a couple weeks ago, I ran out of price guides and decided it was time to design a new one.  I needed an image that I could use as a very long panoramic, one that I could make the last quarter nearly completely one color.  With this image fresh in my head, I decided it would work perfectly.  So Laurie and Bryce, for the next several months whenever I show a couple my wedding prices, that couple will be contemplating your image–among other things–while trying to decide if it’s worth it or not.

Ann + Chey: not even half way done.

I cannot believe that my coverage of Ann and Chey’s wedding is only half over (actually only 4 out of 10 hours completed).  However, it was one of the more productive 4 hours of my wedding photography career.

The couple decided to have a small, back-yard ceremony for a select group of guests this evening.  Tomorrow they’ll boogie it down with lots more friends and family at the Lincoln Country Club.

Even though I still have much work to do, if I decided not to show up, Ann and Chey’s wedding album would be full of beautiful images.   Here’s three.

Jeni + Justin: Happy Accidents

Normally I like to blog a lot closer to the wedding date, but like I said in my last post, I’ve fallen behind!

The top photo here was supposed to simply be a light test….but in honor of the late Bob Ross, it turned out to be a happy accident as I like the strangeness of it.  Probably doesn’t do the wedding justice, but one of those images I just like.  The second photo was taken up in the balcony of First United Methodist Church in Hastings, Neb….not so much an accident, but an image I like all-the-same.

Enjoy!

Debbie + Jose: Going out with a bang!

I’m a little behind in my blogging, but since folks are still recovering from their Fourth of July weekend, I thought I’d post a photo from this weekend’s wedding.

Sometimes I need a lot of words to describe how amazing a wedding was.  Today I’ll just let the image do the talking.  Thanks Debbie and Jose!
