I’m always honored when a fellow photographer chooses me to capture their wedding–even more so when it’s a fellow photojournalist. I may not pick up a press pass very often anymore, but I’ll always feel a special place in the fraternity of photojournalists.
Gwyneth is an awesome photographer at the Lincoln Journal Star. She and Ryan have been together for ages it seems so I was super stoked when I found out they are tying the knot. They live in Lincoln so we decided to meet at Mahoney State Park, one of my favorite spots to shoot. Photographing another photographer can be a little cause me to get a little self-aware. Likewise Gwyneth expressed her nervousness to be on the other side of the lens. As it turned out, it was one of the most-laid back, fun, stress-free sessions I’ve had in a while. I can’t wait for the wedding!
