It’s nice having so much support from such a wonderful family. Oh yes, that is a big pizza-sized chocolate chip cookie that Sarah and Owen got to honor my last day working as a daily photojournalist at the Grand Island Independent.
Tomorrow I kick off a busy wedding season. I’m very much looking forward to being able to dedicate my efforts on that front. I’m thankful to all the clients I’ve had up to this point who have put up with service that is sometimes slower that I would like.
I would also really like to thank everybody at the Independent for such a great stretch. It’s been a very good two-and-a-half years.
I know that I’m going to miss photojournalism very much. It’s offered me a lot of fulfillment. I’ll probably expand on that later. For now, it’s time enjoy the moment.
