Congratulations to Wendy and Derek!
I really like a lot of the photos from their wedding. It seems like a lot
of times – even if I’m spending more than 10 hours with a couple – I don’t
get opportunities to shoot nice portraits of the couple. That wasn’t a problem
Saturday. It helps a lot that they chose venues that lend themselves to nice
photos. I really liked the old windows in the study at Trinity United Methodist
Church. Then the reception was at Babel’s
Barn in Wood River. I’m a big fan of that place. There are a few neat
spots there – plus there is a giant open field on the west side of the property
that lends itself great for sunset portraits.
I’m not sure I’ve ever been treated better by a wedding party. I was showered
with compliments all day and night. It’s nice to feel appreciated. I hope
everybody enjoys the photos!
