Vacation

Wow…I went on a week vacation about 6 weeks ago and haven’t blogged since.  My original goal was to have my best of 2009 all lined up so it would still update daily while gone…or at least close enough that I could post from the road.

Yeah, right.

Funny thing is, this time of year I should have MORE time for blog posting than the rest of the year.

Anyway, here are a couple images from the lake at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  I spent the week about 30 miles away at my parents new home in Spokane, Washington. We had a marvelous time with family.  The short trip to Coeur d’Alene was to visit Sarah’s cousin Seth and his wife Shannon.  Good times.

The lake area was really foggy the evening we were there.  It made it impossible to take in the beauty of the lake…the way it normally is…but it provided for a different kind of beauty and mystique.  I absolutely love shooting in fog, especially during twilight.  On this occasion though I had a two-year-old wanting me to carry him everywhere.  That said, I’m lucky to have these images 🙂
