As if shooting a wedding on the Oregon Coast isn’t exciting enough for me, the anticipation became greater after photographing Deb & Tony’s engagement session.

These guys are a great couple. A couple times I had to reel them in because they were so absorbed in each other’s conversations. I love that when a couple I’m photographing are that into each other. It makes it so much easier to get fun, natural shots.

While planning the session, Tony wanted to include this tandem bike and Deb recommended East Campus in Lincoln as a location. I hadn’t thought of East Campus since I was a photographer at UNL’s Daily Nebraskan. That place is a photographic gold mine–especially now that classes aren’t in session. After leaving East Campus we spent a short bit of time in the Haymarket before heading over to Oak Lake.

Awesome guys. I’m looking forward to sand and sun in August!

[PS…William Lauer pointed out that my RSS feed is not posting all my photos. I don’t know what’s wrong. If you are not seeing photos with this entry, you should be. Please go directly to my blog by clicking here. ]

Thanks for reading!
